It's Raining

On a rainy day couple days ago, I could see from my balcony that some trees in the jungle across my apartment building, swung around and tried to stand still, no matter how hard the wind blew.

I just noticed that even the dark cloud and the heavy rain couldn't hide the calmness of the greenery. For hours during the raining, the trees looked swaying gently instead of cried out for help.

The circumstances that day envy me since I often feel restless recently. Perhaps the miscarriage has left a deep impact on me and slowly influence my daily life. I need much time to understand in this new stage of my life. Somehow I just can't bear the heartache.

On that day I believe the trees there have been through what I have been through to survive, to struggle in the jungle where we stay. It is clearly to see they are more humble to deal and overcome their barriers in living their life than me.

I need much time to understand and I might learn from the nature !

MY HUTAN

Hutan or known as a forest is an area with a high density of trees. It is uncultivated area legally set aside for hunting. Forest can be classified in different ways and to different degrees of specificity. With so many classification that the forest has, there is known a dense forest in a hot climate, such as a tropical rainforest or familiar with a word jungle.

As a metaphor, jungle often refers to situations that are unruly or lawless, or where the only law is perceived to be "survival of the fittest". This metaphor guided me with my own definition of My Hutan.

My hutan is the greatest place that human being has ever created with all magnificent buildings, towers, monuments and all facilities to accomodate human being needs. In some places, you only could see the buildings instead of the trees. You seldom see animals (except pets) in your daily life. It has been replaced by people (although sometimes I might notice that certain people will act as the animals) because in other parts of my hutan people are able, willing to kill other people. Those people think that killing other people is an exciting as playing football.

My hutan will sing the harmony of the honking from each people's vehicles instead of the birds' chirping. Sometimes if it is your lucky day, you will listen the melody of protesters' scream (about everything) to lullaby your day.

When the sun gradually disappears at the end of the day, my hutan will look more prettier than noon. It's not because of the owl's whistling or the chattering of nite animals. It's all because of the lights that come out from the billboards, neonlights, the traffic light and the building itself.

Once you visit my hutan, you wont dare to leave it since it offers a spectacular scenery and I'd love to to be your guide...
